Gaytruth

A form of projecting your own sexuality to a person, usually a character or in some cases a celebrity, to claim they are part of the LGBTQ community.

1: "Irene from Red Velvet is the protector of lesbians because she is one."
2: "Why are you gaytruthing Irene?"
1: "I'm projecting."
