Mousing

To be acting in a silly manner, especially so by completing a task in the least efficient, most idiotic way. Derived from the slang "mickey mousing", which was used to describe when someone would do something using the improper way, material, or method.

Yo guys I totally moused that math test, You just add denominators straight across, right?
Hey, sorry I can't come to the party tonight, I'm in a mousey mood.
Look here buster, you are one hair away from an ass whooping, so you better stop mousing it ASAP.
