Like a normal budgie but this particular budgerigar has a seasonal feather change from blue to purple and vice versa. Although the feather change is seasonal, in moments of high tension the feather change can be somewhat erratic.
David: have you heard of the cobibudgie?
Nigel: yeah it goes from blue to purple to blue to purple.
