A chronically broke person who insists their financial situation is entirely out of their control, while doing little or nothing to change it.

Someone who treats being poor as an identity, often using it as an excuse for bad habits, laziness, or endless complaining.

Internet slang for a person who is poor through circumstance, but leans into the victimhood as a personality trait.

“Kyle’s still an inpauper because he ‘can’t get a job’… but somehow he’s online 12 hours a day.”
“That streamer called her viewers inpaupers for not subbing.”
