Ostaboo

A person who is obsessed with the culture, language, government, and music of the former German Democratic Republic (East Germany). An ostaboo may also hold communistic views due to the nature of their obsession. An ostaboo may also own various items of memorabilia, such as a Strichtarn backpack or NVA cap. Similar to weeaboo.

Joe: "Why do you keep playing that song about border guards?"
Hans: "FUR DEN SHUTZ DER ARBEITER UND BAUERNMACHT!!"
Joe: "I should have known. You've gone full ostaboo on us."
