Crabbing

The way in which a person walks sideways, particularly in a nervous situation or when feelings of anxiety overcome the body.

Peter: Hey Greg WTF just happened back there?

Greg: I dunno dude, when ever I'm walking in public on my own, especially shopping malls i get nervous and just start crabbing down the isles.
