Platonic means that even if I want to, we better not if we wanna stay platonic or friends period.
it could also mean, I am gay and you are not the same sex, so you don't have a chance in hell
it could also mean, I am gay and you are not the same sex, so you don't have a chance in hell
Now that is a platonic relationship between the opposite sex that is never in jeopardy due to possible sexual desires
