fluxigent (adj.) /ˈflʌk.sɪ.dʒənt/

Compound of flux (Latin: fluxus, meaning continuous change or flow) + contingent (Latin: contingere, meaning dependent upon circumstances)

Describing a person whose sexual attractions, erotic expression, and relational dynamics are not fixed but are entirely contingent upon which internal state of flux they are currently experiencing. A fluxigent individual moves between two or more distinct erotic and expressive states — unpredictably and without conscious control — with their desires, attractions, and identity expression shifting meaningfully between each state.
Unlike bisexuality or fluidity alone, fluxigent describes a sexuality where the WHOLE erotic world — including gender expression, attraction, and dynamic preferences — operates as one interconnected system that shifts together rather than independently.
“They didn’t understand why no existing label fit until they discovered they were fluxigent.”
