Vanessa isn't a 'common american girl name' and she definitely doesn't think so. She is not a weak 'butterfly' and will stand up for herself, and others. Vanessa's don't typically stand out, but once you actually get to know them, you'll wonder why they don't.

I wish my parents had named me Vanessa, instead. Maybe then I'd have confidence to speak up.
