WASB

White Anglo Saxon Buddhist. A person derived from a white Germanic or European heritage and who happens to practice Buddhism. Similar to the term WASP, however it is not considered as derogatory. See also, WASP (White Anglo Saxon Protestant)

Those who convert from Protestantism to Buddhism could be cosidered new WASBs and former WASPs. Many of the flower children of the sixties, converting from their original WASP heritage, became WASBs.
