On the whip

Someone that is being completely controlled by their significant other, is known to be "on the whip."

Guy 1: "Did you hear about Aydian's new girlfriend?"
Guy 2: "Yeah, she has him on a tight leash."
Guy 1: "He's definitely on the whip."
