"TRETA" is a brazilian slang for an fight or an unpleasant situation in general. There is also the verb “tretar”. used only in informal conversations.

-Teve uma treta na classe e um aluno saiu chorando.
-Some bad shit happened in the classroom and an student left crying.

-Eles tretaram por causa de 50 reais.
-They got into a fight because of 50 reals.
