In gangster rap music, the slight yet noticeable chime, whistle, or soft acoustic noise played on repeat in the background. To a caucasian middle-class male, the sound can be comparable to a cricket's mating call, the slight pull on a harp string, or a soft beat of a drum using a crack spoon.
