Once the mind and body are adept at conquering onslaughts of agony, one will have gained insurmountable authority over all that one seeks to control.
The death of Thomas and Martha Wayne caused their son Bruce Wayne to thugmax for years, leading him to become the dominant vigilante known as Batman.
