Showing no particular preference out of the rival yeast spreads Vegemite (Australia) and Marmite (New Zealand).

"I hope you don't mind? We've only got Vegemite."

Used to describe someone who does not like Vegemite or Marmite (rival yeast spreads from Australia and New Zealand respectively).

Hyphen optional.

People in the Northern Hemisphere who encounter Vegemite tend to think it will be like chocolate; upon tasting they usually become strongly a-mitrous.
