Bud

The Canadian "N-word". Using it with close friends or family members is often the highest form of endearment among Canadians, but using it in confrontational situations is bound to escalate said disputes, even to the point of coming to blows.

"This is my friend Wayne. We've been best buds since Junior High!"

"C'mon bud, give it up. She's outta your league."

"You wanna go bud? Let's f@#king go!"
