PIPOL syndrome

PIPOL syndrome (Pinoy Politician syndrome): A satirical condition in which a high-profile public figure, politician, or wealthy individual suddenly exhibits severe, debilitating medical ailments—ranging from soaring blood pressure and vertigo to sudden paralysis requiring a wheelchair, neck brace, or oxygen tank—the exact microsecond an arrest warrant, court summons, or plunder charge is issued.

Example: "He was doing fine at the rally yesterday, but the moment the subpoena dropped, he was immediately struck down by a severe case of PIPOL syndrome and checked into a VIP hospital suite."
