Texting it out

The act of "working it out" (aka. resolving a dispute) through texting as opposed to in person.

"Hey joan, what's up?"
"Grr, I got into a fight with my boyfriend, I'm trying to work it out. Were text fighting right now."
"Oh so your texting it out?"
"Pretty much yah."
