Patternmancy is a word that I made up to shorten and name the following definitions:
Patternmancy is a mind game of understanding and predicting other's behavioural patterns, adapting oneself's defensive patterns and making oneself's offensive patterns unpredictable for the opponent.
It is also an art of understanding behavioural and logical patterns of an entity. As well as adapting and improving oneself's behavioural and logical patterns. Creating brand new patterns to overcome new obstacles, adapt to new circumstances or in search for better ways of dealing with old problems.
For the first time, patternmancy was defined in YouTube comments as:
"Understanding, swapping, correcting, augmenting, merging and even creating new patterns is a universe of art and mastery."
In a reply to other user's comment, a name was given:
"My learning ground for the... I didn't find anything matching the definition, let alone a name, so... Should I name it myself as "patternmancy", then?"
*By "I didn't find anything matching the definition-" I didn't mean my exact form of definition, I meant, that I didn't find anything by Google searches like "predicting behaviour patterns", "the art of predicting behaviour", etc.
P. S. Yes, the account, that originally posted the comments that I quoted, belongs to me. Before flagging me for copyright, find that account and ask it.
