To unofficially reserve something for yourself.

Steve: Hi Bob. Dave and I are going back to mine to watch a movie and drink some beers. Do you want to come?

Bob: Yeah, sounds good. Baggsy the sofa.

Dave: Too late, Steve already baggsied it.
