Sharing a plate of food so you don’t have to pay for yourself. If you are on a double date you would use a “buy one , get one free” coupon and not have to pay for your portion. AKA, being cheap and not just sharing. You do not split the check. One person pays for everything, because you don’t have the money or just cheap.
We would like to order one entre of spaghetti and we will sheruben it. Can you please bring another plate?
