Ribs Touching

When someone is extremely hungry, straving, famished. It could have a connotation of poverty, lack of resources, unable to feed yourself or feed someone properly. It could also mean you haven't ate all day or be used as an exaggerated statement of hunger to imply your more than ready to eat.

My ribs touching... I know your ribs touching... She needs to take better care of her babies her baby ribs always touching...
