Kawaii 

A word that is commonly mistaken to literally mean 'cute'. Sorry to say this, but it ACTUALLY literally means 'good face'.

Use it in conversation and the other person will likely feel like clawing their face off.
(Also it's actually pronounced 'Kawa-ee', not 'kawa-I')

PersonA: OMG THAT DRESS IS SOOO KAWAII!!
PersonB: ...It has a good face? WHAT.
PersonA: NO IT MEANS CUTE GET IT??
PersonB: *stares and leaves*
