An acronym meaning "Laughing out loud". Used in a chat to convince someone that they are funny, even if it's the corniest, stupidest joke ever.

Person 1: "You know what you call a cow with no legs?"

Person 2: "What?"

Person 1: "Ground Beef. HAHAHA!!!:)"

Person 1: (Ummm.....) "LOL!"
