To wear a surgical type face mask because if feels good, or makes others feel safe, but doesn't actually accomplish anything. To wear a surgical type mask incorrectly.
I saw a person wearing a surgical mask over their mouth but their nose was uncovered; they were performing maskurbation to make others feel safe.
