malarchy

Literally "bad / wrong / mis government or rule" combining the prefix "mal" as in malpractice or malfeasance, with the suffix "archy" meaning rule or government, as in monarchy or anarchy.

The country threw off monarchy but due to corruption it eventually descended into malarchy.
