A term used to describe a degree of stalking where the stalker pursues a person of interest by means of repeated presence at the person of interests' and stalkers common places and only at times convenient for the stalker.

Causal Stalking lacks the searching for the person of interest on social media or internet searches.

The stalkers motivation is for a date, a hangout, to obtain a phone number or to seek a deeper connection through social activities.
I decided that casual stalking was appropriate for pursuing Devin because I wanted to ask him to the GangaLuv Music Festival.
