regulationship

To be in a relationship with someone very controlling, i.e. a significant other who heavily regulates how you spend your time.

David: "Hey man, how's it going with your girlfriend?"
John: "Not great, she never lets me go out with friends or do anything without her..."
David: "Sounds like you need to get out of that regulationship my friend!"
