The Daughter Shot

In filmmaking the act of going in tighter in the same set-up, for a closer view of the same object/subject. That is going from the mother shot to the daughter shot. The same shot, only tighter.

DP "Let's go in for the daughter shot"

Green 2nd A.C. "What's that?"

DP "Same shot, tighter lens, dumb ass."
