N.I.L. Daddy

The main sponsor of a college team (most commonly football) who gives large sums of money to the university to become the unofficial owner of the team. this money is then used to pay and attract athletes through N.I.L. money essentially turning a college team into a professional team.

Phil knight is the N.I.L. daddy of the university of Oregon's football program.
