A haircut is what a barber or stylist does when they trim your hair with scissors or clippers and it looks incredible afterwards.

The state of your hair immediately leaving the barbershop/salon knowing that it won't look this good after you touch it.

"Did Jill get a haircut?"
"Nope, she got a haircute."
