Oliver Turnbull's definitions

Birk

Birk is commonly used as a light hearted, almost affectionate insult, referring to someone who is a bit silly, or has done something stupid.

Its origins are more coarse. Its a derivative of the cockney rhyming slang Birkley Hunt - I.e. cunt.
1. Modern - you are such a birk for eating that mouldy food.

2. Archaic - my birk hurts.

3. Cockney - get off me you stupid birkley.
