When a woman ( or man ) purposely misunderstands what you said, just to make her argument. Often known as the opposite of mansplaning

Jeff: " you look really cute today"

Sally: " are you saying i look ugly all the other days?!"

Jeff: " stop cuntfusing what i said for an insult"
