The process of having a bowel movement and inadvertently staining the side of the bowl.

Let the brown bear out of the cave. 

The act of having a bowel movement. The idea being that the anus is synonymous with a dark cave, and the fecal matter being brown, is synonymous with a bear.

I will be in the bathroom for a while, I need to go let the brown bear out of the cave.
