recessmas

The purchase of goods during an economic recession or depression at a level that is more typically reserved for the gift giving holidays, like Christmas. Often enabled by atypical discounting that normally doesn’t occur outside of an economic downturn.

I can believe all the stuff we bought today, I love recessmas; thank goodness we have jobs.
