Abbreviation for 'Hormonally Induced Sassiness'.
The behavioral change a woman undergoes during the onset of her menses.
Symptoms of HIS include but are not limited to:
- Decreased ability to put up with lame jokes.
- Increased activity in the region of the frontal lobe that is primarily responsible for interpreting and delivering sarcasm.
- Bloating, tenderness, changes in appetite.
