Hair Compensation Syndrome

Where someone who is going bald grows more hair out on the sides of their head to cover it up, or compensates for it with distracting facial hair. ie:very large sideburns, huge mustaches,goatees, etc.

"Look at that old dude's huge burns! Classic case of hair compensation syndrome."
