scene 

a derrogatory term often used by hardcore, straightedge or rock band members to describe the people who go to rock concerts or hang out a clubs in-order to gain a status not for the liking of the music; a poser; someone who poses to be something they are not

Mike went to the show dressed in his favorite Hot Topic clothes and stood outside and talked to all of the band members, got their autographs and bragged about it for the next year; he was so scene.
