Reciproquery

When one person in your party says something that immediately stops all sidebar conversation, a second person says ... “what?” , to which the first person replies ... “what?” ...followed by awkward silence or a random and anonymous “huh?”

And that... my friends...is what you call ... a reciproquery... who wants another margarita?...
