Dehumanitification

/dē-ˌ(h)yü-ˌma-nə-tə-ˈfĭ-kā-shan/
The bureaucratically sanctioned, algorithmically optimized process of stripping individuals of dignity, empathy, and personhood, usually to make systemic abuse more efficient, customer service more unbearable, or war crimes sound like policy decisions. Often administered in sterile language by people in suits or screens in cubicles.

Field Applications:

Corporate: Referring to workers as "human capital units"

Government: Referring to civilians as "collateral damage"

Tech: Designing platforms where users are “data points” instead of people

Healthcare: "Patient throughput" as a higher priority than patient outcome
