I.R.A.

Shorthand for the Irish Respiratory Association. They are an organisation raising awareness for many important issues. In the late 20th century, the Association attempted to form a branch in Northern Ireland, but ultimately failed.

Person A: “How was your day with the I.R.A.?”
Person B: “It was a blast!”
