A yottie is close friend or family member that you start a conversation with by saying "Yo" or "Ayo" it is similar to the way "Brodie" is used except it originated in the bustling cities of Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio citizens.

"Yo, what's good with you yottie I haven't heard from you in forever."
