When leaves of a tree are growing back after the tree lost them in the fall.

This word was first used back in 1780 to describe when the trees were getting their leaves back in the spring. It is commonly used in northern regions such as Canada.
The trees are pealming! It’s so beautiful when the trees tart to pealm.
