shock and awe

This describes the feeling you get when you get mad at something, then later have no harsh feelings towards it, such as a video game.
"Dude, i was playing Halo 2's single player campaign, i was about to beat the level, when an elite came from behind me and killed me. I was so mad i through my controller out the window. A few hours later, i played the game as though this event never happened, and i was happy. It was like some form of shock and awe.
