Hissling
HISSLING -The act of making sound by exhaling sharply between almost closed teeth. The sound resembles a cross between a muted whistle and a high hiss. It is most commonly produced by those who wear dentures or who have abnormally large spaces in their teeth. Generally “Hisslers” are very socially unaware of how triggering their noises can be. Hissling is also linked to an increase in acute Misophonia or sound sensitivity syndrome.
