a downturn in the economic vibes (more officially, consumer sentiment), often despite positive economic indicators such as real gdp and wage growth

Gen-Z and Millennials are the richest generation in many ways: they have more money, wealth and technology than any of their parents. Despite this, people feel like the economy is broken and they don't have economic prospects: we're officially in a vibecession.
