Slang term for nickname. Usually used in the Midwest with the term Ixay which is telling someone to stop calling them that name.

Friend 1: hey have you seen that girl leaf around?
Friend 2: who?

Friend 1: idk her name. I just know leaf is her nicknay

Friend 2: eh... ixay on the nicknay. It’s a dumb one for sure
