(pejorative) - a portmanteau of "blue" (leaning to the political left) and "bourgeoisie" (the class of people who are wealthy, educated, and politically powerful), the bluegeoisie is the subset of political liberals and/or political progressives who are relatively affluent. A.K.A the "limousine liberals".
