"ILM" stands for Industrial Light & Magic, which was founded by George Lucas on May 26, 1975 in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, CA. It is an American motion picture visual effects company. It was also created while George Lucas began production of the film Star Wars.

This also stands for "I love myself" and "I love mom".

Person 1: Hey have you seen that company ILM thats owned by George Lucas the Star Wars creator?

Person 2: Yeah, I think it's owned by Disney now since it is a division of the company Lucasfilm, and Lucasfilm was bought by Disney a little while ago in 2012.
