An uninvited, but harmless and not unwelcome guest at a party. Unlike a gatecrasher, who spoil parties by drinking your beer, harassing your women and hijacking the turntables, a random blends in well enough to remain undetected until the following day after leaving.

'Who was that bloke in the long white robe with dreads?'
'I dunno, just some random I think...'
